Summer 2018

It was an exciting summer all around at La Luna Farm. Both horses and riders had success at the horse shows.

We began the summer at HITS Saugerties. In between thunderstorms, we took to the show rings. Natalie Meyer and both of her jumpers, La Luna's Quintago and La Luna's Ideal, had several good finishes in the high children's jumper classics. Both horses finishing in the top three.

Later in the summer, Natalie took La Luna's Beso to the hunter derby ring. They qualified for the Platinum Performance Hunter Derby finals. After four rounds and stiff competition, they finished ninth, a great ribbon for their first final.

La Luna's Angelina and Julie had several wins in the adult hunter division, ending up third in the Marshall and Sterling adult hunter finals.

During the summer, Will Rubadeau along with his young mare, Griffin, joined the La Luna team. Keep an eye out for these two in the show ring. Great things are to come. Welcome to both!!

We will be heading down to Florida in December and will stay there until April. Come over and say hello! We look forward to seeing you!!
