Spring at La Luna

All of the horses are back from Wellington after a wonderful winter season. Paul Mayne, our trainer, and La Luna’s Cara finished off competing in the High Schooling jumpers and had several clear rounds and many blue ribbons. Both horse and rider are looking forward to the Spring and Summer season in the Northeast.

Natalie Meyer and La Luna’s Quintago competed for first time in Wellington this winter. They did both the 12-14 equitation and the 14 under hunters. They finished the season in the Taylor Harris, 14 and under equitation and did great each time. They too are looking forward to the coming show season.

Julie Stevenson worked with her new Argentianian gelding, La Luna’s Ideal. He competed in his first classes at WEF this winter and he too, had several clear rounds. Both are ready for the summer season in the Northeast.

Paul also went to Germany this winter and came back with two new sales horses who we will begin to train. They are both beautiful, Bay mares. One is a young hunter and the other is a jumper. Both will be exciting to watch develop.

We are looking forward to an exciting show season ahead. Our first show in the Spring is the Garden State Horse Show in Sussex, NJ. Come have a tour of the barn and see these amazing horses!!
